Riccardo Tisci and Nicki Minaj attended Tuesday night's Time 100 Gala together, and don't they make a great-looking red carpet couple?
For this year's Time 100 List, Minaj was honored as an influential "Icon" while Tisci was named "Fashion's Agitator," so it makes sense that the two would show up side by side. Plus, the designer-and-rapper duo are longtime friends.
For the special event, Minaj wore one of Tisci's designs from Givenchy's fall 2016 collection, which the creative director staged a runway show for during New York Fashion Week. (Minaj was in attendance and spotted front row wearing a head-to-toe leopard-print look.) Last night, her all-black ensemble was far from being mundane or morbid thanks to the layered textures throughout the entire outfit: A ruffled lace dress with embroidered details, thigh-high suede boots and a leather minaudière.
With the Met Gala only less than a week away, we wouldn't be mad if Tisci and Minaj make another red carpet appearance arm in arm. In fact, we hope they do.
