Former Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor is said to be angry at Rhian Sugden's revelations last week that she had again been in touch with the TV host.
And she claimed 41-year-old Vernon had been “desperate” to meet up with her last month. Now Oliver, who previously dated Kym Marsh, has had enough of seeing his bride-to-be’s sexy messages.
A friend said: “Oliver is away working, so he hasn’t seen Rhian since the claims emerged. He was annoyed to find out she had been messaging Vernon, especially as she had kept it secret from him.
“They didn’t speak for the majority of last week as Oliver was ignoring Rhian’s calls. He was angry and had been questioning their relationship. When he eventually did pick up the phone, they had a huge row and Oliver broke up with her.
“Rhian is still hopeful they can make the relationship work when he comes home. She wants them to sit down and discuss everything face to face, but as far as Oliver is concerned, it is over.”
