In support of Kim Kardashian, stars are stripping down on Instagram after Kim took some heat over a nude selfie she shared earlier this week.
Chloe Grace Moretz was one of the first to criticize Kardashian, tweeting to her “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies.”
Kardashian quickly shut her right up, issuing a clapback for the ages demoting her to “who?” status and referencing Moretz appearing in the nude on the cover of Nylon.
After more weak criticism from people like Piers Morgan — “I found it all a bit depressing” — and Pink — “shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their ‘magic’ that they were born with” — Kardashian wrote one hell of an opus owning her right to be sexy.
“I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin,” she wrote. “I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.”
Several stars have spoken out on Kardashian’s behalf.
Amber Rose took Pink to task saying, “Damn Pink we were all born naked society sexualizes our breast and bodies. If a grown mother of two is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off that’s none of [your] business or anyone else’s.”
Abigail Breslin, Rowan Blanchard, and Emily Ratajkowski all posted their defenses to Twitter.
Now stars are taking it a step further, getting all dressed down with everything to show.
Sharon Osbourne tweeted her own nude selfie, writing that Kim “inspired me.”
YouTuber GloZell made her own who wore it best joking that her “chesticals are a little uneven.”
