The two hosts were noticeably struggling to present the breakfast show when it was broadcast live on ITV on Monday.
Eventually the pair revealed there was a good reason for it too as they confessed to viewers they were fighting off an ant infestation.
Oh dear! Just incase anyone needed proof the camera even turned to the floor to show that the insects were all over the place.
Returning from the break, Susanna said: "You know that feeling when you think things are crawling on your skin?"
To which Piers responded: "Well they are crawling. The place is infested with ants!"
After viewers were shown a small glimpse at the laminate floor covered in bugs, Susanna revealed they'd started to make a beeline for her legs.
She shrieked: "Oh my days! One of those has just crawled up my leg. There's so many of them."
Luckily guest Marco Pierre White was quick to tell the hosts what they could do to sort out the problem.
Susanna tweeted: "Ants in @gmb studio! Marco Pierre White suggests we dip them in chocolate & says white pepper will repel mice."
The post led to those watching at home getting involved and offering tips to get rid of the ants.
One person wrote: "@GMB babypower try using baby powder for ants xx."
A second added: "@GMB put something sweet down so the ants will be attractive to it xx."
While another simply joked: "@PeirsMorgan ants in yer pants! #ants #gmb."
