Donald Trump accuses Raul Castro of snubbing Barack Obama by skipping airport welcome

Billionaire asks why Cuban leader met Pope Francis on Tarmac but not American president making first visit in almost 90 years.

Donald Trump accused Raul Castro, president of Cuba, of snubbing Barack Obama by failing to greet him at the airport as he arrived in Havana for a historic visit on Sunday evening.
Instead, the American president was met by Bruno Rodriguez, the Cuban foreign minister, and heavy rain.
Mr Castro, brother of Fidel, is due to welcome his American counterpart at the Palace of Revolution on Monday.
But he was on the Tarmac to meet Pope Francis last year and Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill last month.
Mr Trump expressed his outrage on Twitter.
He said:Wow, President Obama just landed in Cuba, a big deal, and Raul Castro wasn't even there to greet him. He greeted Pope and others. No respect..
