Fans of the Britain's Got Talent judge loved her new look and gushed over her 'flawless' appearance on This Morning .
The singer was on the couch talking about the tenth series of the ITV programme, when she admitted she would never do fellow talent show The X Factor .
Responding to questions from presenter Rylan Clark-Neal about rumours she turned down a role on as a judge, she explained: "Back in the day I thought about it. I think tonally the X Factor wouldn't suit me as it's so serious.
"The fact judges are against one another, that would make me uncomfortable. I've always loved the idea of mentoring and being there to support other artists."
She added: "Britain's Got Talent suits my personality."
Alesha, 37, who has a daughter Azura, 2, was sporting a shock of bright purple cropped hair that could rival a Nicki Minaj wig.
Effortlessly managing to pull off the edgy look, viewers watching on Twitter couldn't help fawn over her style: " Alesha Dixon looked absolutely flawless this morning."
One adoring fan said: "Watching you on This Morning, Love your hair, you look totally gorgeous from head to toe."

Alesha teased BGT fans about the type of acts they can expect in the new series and said she had already used her golden buzzer: "I think this could be the year a golden buzzer act wins."
