David Silva Will Miss Champions League Semi-Final Second Leg


Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that David Silva will miss the second leg of his side's Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid next week.

The Spaniard was forced off after just 40 minutes in the first leg this evening as City held Madrid to a goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium.

Pellegrini revealed after the match that Silva had sustained a hamstring injury that will keep him out of the return leg at the Bernabeu next Wednesday.

"David Silva has a hamstring injury and will not be fit in one week," he told BT Sport

  1. The first leg of Uefa Champions League 2016 was finished, and only Atletico Madrid scored 1 goal against Bayern Munchen, because between Man City and Real Madrid, the score was 0-0. So, we hope that in the next round we can see more than 1 goal on each match.
