The suspect was said to have succeeded in stealing the generator from one of the branches of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, at College Road, Aladja, owing to the recent inter-communal crisis between the community and her neighbouring Ogbe-Ijoh, which drove many from their homes. He was arrested while on his way to selling the generator in Warri.
